Just a few miles from Tsarskoe Selo lies the superb palace and park complex of Pavlovsk. This Imperial Estate was the residence of Paul I, the son of Catherine the Great, and his family. The magnificent palace of Pavlovsk is located on the hill overlooking an English-style park , with a beautiful river running through it. The park of Pavlovsk is considered to be one of the most beautiful landscape parks in the world.
